Formula - equation /=/

Each formula starts with an equal sign (=).
A formula can contain different arithmetic symbols:

  • + addition
  • - subtraction
  • * multiplication
  • / division
  • etc (other arithmetic symbols)

Replication commands are:

  • The Fill Down
  • The Fill Right

    Formulas can be constructed with:

  • Relative references to the other cells change when copied
  • Absolute references to the other cells don`t change when copied elsewhere

Automatic recalculation means: when value in a cell is changed all cells with formula which contain all formulas containg that cell.
EXCEL will do recalculation

This feature can be turned off if recalculation is not necessary.
