WORD 2010 - PAGE NUMBER

PAGE NUMBER & SECTION BREAK

In some works it is necessary that only the third page has a numbering 1 . The principle is to create a new section, then the HEADER AND FOOTER tab and turn off LINK TO PREVIOUS button in the NAVIGATION  group.

 

PAGE NUMBER & SECTION BREAK, steps:

  1. Choose a page ;
  2. HEADER AND FOOTER TAB;
  3. NAVIGATION groups;
  4. LINK TO PREVIOUS button;
  5. Delete the page number from first two pages ;
  6. Select the number of the page on third page;
  7. HEADER AND FOOTER TAB;
  8. HEADER AND FOOTER group;
  9. PAGE NUMBER button;
  10. FORMAT PAGE NUMBER option;
  11. FORMAT PAGE NUMBER;
  12. START AT field;
  13. Choose the begining value of the page;
  14. The end .
