Lisa has many good friends at school. They spend a lot of time together – they play games, listen to music, and watch videos on Youtube. Lisa loves music. She can sing very well and she plays the violin. She plays classical music, but classical music not her favorite kind of music. Lisa loves rock and roll. Her favorite bands are Bon Jovi and the Rolling Stones. She has a collection of CDs on a shelf in her room. She also has all her favorite songs on her MP3 player.
Lisa’s favorite person is her cousin Luka who is a famous guitar player. He is much older than Lisa, but they are best friends Lisa loves to sing when Luka plays the guitar. Last year, Luka went to Los Angeles. There was a summer camp there and Luke worked as a guitar teacher with elementary school children. He is very proud of that. This year Lisa wants to go to that camp. She wants to learn to play the guitar. She sent an application letter in January. You have to be under 15 to apply, but you do not have to be experienced. She is waiting for a reply. Luke is keeping his fingers crossed. He is sure that they are going to accept her and that they are going to spend the summer together.
