Our friends are going to school this Saturday, because they are having a farewell party for Lisa. She is moving to San Francisco, because her mother got a job there. They made decorations and bought some snacks. Lisa likes parties, but she is sad because she is going away.
Kate: Lisa, look at these snacks. Do you want to eat something?
Lisa: No, thanks, I don't want to eat anything.
Maggie: How about some juice? Do you want to drink something?
Lisa: Thanks, but I want nothing.
Jane: Lisa, why are you crying? Is something wrong? San Francisco is a nice place.
Lisa: It is true, but I am not returning to Chicago, because we have to move there. I will live in a new city and I won't see you again.
Kate: But Lisa, you can always write and talk to us, and we will visit you.
Lisa: You're right, but that's not the same. I don't like anything about San Francisco. How will I find new friends? Will they accept me? Will the new school be good? What will I do alone without you?
Maggie: Don't worry. You are a nice person and I'm sure your new friends will like you. And you won't be alone. We will stay in touch and you will have more friends. Your parents can take you to Chicago. And the weather in San Francisco is much better than it is here.
Steve: And you can invite us all to your new home and we can have a big party.
Lisa: Yes, it's a good idea. We will all go and see the Golden Gate Bridge and Pier 39, and we will see the aquarium, sea lions and all other things.
Dave: That's the spirit Lisa. And now, let's Party!
