NEW SOUTH WALES

New South Wales contains a considerable range of
climatic conditions and physical forms varying from the semi-tropical north coast to the
alpine zone in the south and the desert-like region of the west near the centre of the
continent .
Natural features divide the State into four areas. This land is watered by a number
of coastal rivers, the main ones being the Clarence, Macleay, Hunter and Shoalhaven.
Temperatures vary widely,from about 22C in the summer to 13C in the winter.The
region recieves an average rainfall of 1140mm which is fairly evenly distributed over the
year.
NSW has the highest population with approx. 6 million people, 35% of the total
population. The State's capital, Sydney,was Australia's first city. |

I have always concidered SYDNEY the most beautiful city in the world.I have been
fortunate enough to live there for 6 years, and it was the time of my life.I was present
when Australia was celebrating it's bicenntenial, and as you can see on the last picture
it was the celebration of the decade.The reason for not writing very much about every
picture is that I think they speak for themselves. So enjoy them, I'm sure that I'll be
proven right.
