4 Second and Third conditionals (mixed)
We can also 'mix' types 2 and 3 in the same sentence if the meaning requires. These 'mixed' conditionals are often used to imagine the present or future consequences of events that happened or didn't happen in the past:
If you'd done more work (in the past), you'd get higher marks (today or in the future).
If the sun had shone more while I was on holiday, I'd have a suntan now.
If I'd been born in 1975, how old would I be now?
