Belvedere Palace

The Belvedere in Vienna, Austria, is a palace built by J. Lukas von Hildebrandt for Prince Eugene of Savoy in the early 18th century. Set in a beautiful park, the Belvedere, with its copper roof and white stucco walls, is one of Vienna’s most well-known landmarks.

In 1896/97 the British engineer Walter B. Basset built up the Wiener Riesenrad. In 1945 bombs and fire damaged almost al the wagons and machinery of the Wiene Riesenrad. During the rehabilitation Vienna after world war two the Wiener Riesenrad was rebuilt totally.
